Audi Partners with D.C. United to Sponsor New Washington D.C. Soccer Stadium

A state-of-the-art urban facility, 31 luxury suites, a 20,000-fan capacity, bike valet service and 500,000 square feet of retail space – and it's all coming in 2018 to host sporting, music and cultural events galore along the southwest D.C.'s newly developed waterfront. Behold, Audi Field.

February 15, 2017 was a day to remember for soccer fans and Audi enthusiasts alike, with Audi extending its MLS sponsorship to include the most decorated franchise in U.S. soccer history and most successful professional team in the nation’s capital, D.C. United, and becoming the official naming partner of the eponymous soccer club’s new Washington D.C. soccer stadium. And as Loren Angelo, vice president of marketing for Audi of America, attests, it'll be a "commitment [that] helps Audi connect with passionate soccer fans of all ages and the greater community through unique experiences that continue to elevate their excitement in America's fastest-growing sport." Jason Levien, United Managing General Partner, echoed the excitement, lauding Audi for truly "transcend[ing] the automobile industry and fully embrac[ing] the culture of soccer, especially in MLS," of which Audi of America has been the official automotive sponsor since 2015, and "looking forward" to memorable experiences at Audi Field.

And we at Audi Dallas couldn't agree more. Promising progressive mixed-use accessibility and a commitment to environmental sustainability, for which, upon completion, the facility is slated to receive a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification, Audi Field sounds like a great destination. 2018 road trip, anyone?

For that, you're going to need a hard-charging, get-up-and-go vehicle to make the trek. Our Dallas, TX showroom has just the 2017 Audi Q3, Q5, Q7 or SQ5 SUV to get you all the way to the nation's capital and back in style. Stop by and see us for a test drive today!
